Welcome to the Green Country Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) website. MOAA is the nation's largest and most influential association of military officers. It is an independent, nonprofit, politically nonpartisan organization.  Stated briefly, the association may advocate issues, but it may not advocate the election or defeat of candidates or political parties. MOAA is the leading voice on compensation and benefit matters for ALL members of the military community. The association plays an active role in military personnel matters and especially proposed legislation affecting the career force, the retired community, and veterans of the uniformed services. MOAA is a tri-level organization.  The national organization, based in Washington D.C., represents more than 370,000 officers and surviving spouses. Then there are over 30 state or regional level affiliates and nearly 400 local chapter affiliates.  The MOAA Green Country Chapter is a state local chapter affiliate. 

"Camaraderie With A Purpose" is our chapter's mission.  Our chapter members are leaders in various Veterans organizations and partner for the betterment of our community.

1.  Our chapter provides supports our three county JROTC programs.  This includes:

a.  Direct donations to each of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force JROTC programs.

b.  GCMOAA  Awards to the oustanding junior cadet of each JROTC program.

2.  Chapter Events

a.  Monthly Chapter Business Meetings

b.  Veterans Day Parade participation

c.  December Installation Dinner- a formal dinner which installs our chapter officers and board directors   

d.  Trivia Night Fundraiser each March.

e.   Each Spring attends the various JROTC Award dinners and presents certificates and checks to outstanding cadets   

f.   Attends the Mayor's Council for Veteran's Affairs meetings for Tulsa and Broken Arrow
