The U.S. Army will celebrate its 250th birthday on June 14, 2025, commemorating the Army's distinguished service to our nation.  The central theme for this year's celebration is “This We'll Defend.”

National Flag Day is an annual observance for all Americans, but it is not a federal holiday.  Each year the sitting president encourages all Americans to display the US flag outside their homes and businesses.
